UC1834: Using current sense amplifier along with fault alert section

HI,

The datasheet mentions that higher current (than the set threshold) will pull down the output of the error amplifier and thereby decrease the output voltage. Based on the information given in the datasheet and application note, this can trigger the fault alert signal. Request someone to confirm this

Hello Nandha,

This is my understanding as well.
There is the ability to provide a delay to triggering the fault, by adding an external capacitor to the fault delay pin.
This may help reduce the triggering of false faults.

It is my intent to trigger a fault signal for an over-current event. Will get to testing this circuit.
