Best solution for LSH20 battery

Hello,

I want to power my system with a LSH20 battery cell but I don't know which solution I have to pick.

I need that it has a fixed Vout of 2.5V and Iout of ~200mA (I really need 0.5mA), but I know that a simple LDO is not sufficient because the battery and the charge have to be separated if the battery reaches 3V.. (I don't want my system becoming on fire)

I need it to be through hole too, or the biggest possible...

Any ideas ?

Hi SDC,

Most of our solutions here are for monitoring or protecting a battery but for rechargeable batteries. It is my understanding that a LSH20 cannot be charged as it is a primary cell. Can you please clarify what it is you want from a BMS solution?

Thank you for your time and response.
I know that I can't go under 3V with this type of battery cells. So my question is: is there a voltage regulator capable of switching off the system when my battery reaches 3V ?

Can you post a D/S of the exact cell you will use? Many cells of this type go under 3V when cold, etc.

Thank you for your response.
But I need the system to be through hole. I think I am going to use a 3V voltage detector (like the one to reset micro-controllers during drop out voltage and brown-out) with a through hole LDO. I think it's going to be sufficient.
