battery powered inverter- large swing of battery current

dear All E2E,

please suppose a single phase inverter powered from a L-Ion battery.

as you may know there is a pulsating power and so on the battery should be of a large swing shape.

i have three questions:

1) is such a large swing current permissible/tolerable?

2) is it permissible/tolerable to current pass to negative in this swing amplitude?

3) is there any techniques to decrease the swing?

my question does not relate to a part number.

in fact i need more information about Lion batteries.

we have a single phase pwm inverter powered from a Lion battery pack.

the pulsating power leads to a double line-frequency current of battery. this current may or may not go to negative range.

may these currents harm the battery?

Hi Rasool,

I think i understand your concern is if your current setup will harm the particular battery that you are using. I would suggest that you take this up with your battery supplier. This forum is unfortunately to provide support to TI components.
