EM1402EVM: Battery Connector

Part Number: EM1402EVM

Question

Why are instructions repeated for BAT16 [pin 1 and pin 19] and BAT0 [pin 9 and pin 11]?

Description

Individual batteries do not have two positive terminals nor two negative terminals. The connector has 20 pins and the quick-start section of the EM1402EVM 16-channel active cell-balancing design has 16 batteries. The demand by the cell-balancing chip pl4555 is that the batteries must connect to the pins in a specified manner discussed in EM1402EVM 16-channel active cell-balancing design guide. However, the battery connection instructions repeats the same battery terminals in 4 separate entries (Please see image).

Please note that the end goal is to follow this battery connection guide to then continue with the TIDM-TMS57004BMS design guide. (That is, this battery connection used must also work for the TIDM-TMS57004BMS design)
