bq25504 and lifepo4 cell
Can I use bq25504 to recharge a single LiFePO4 cell?
Yes, just set the regulaiton (OV) to 3.6V.
I don't use VBAT_OK, what must i do with OK_PROG and OK HYST? (short to gnd or leave it open?)
tie pins 9 and 10 to VSTOR (prog and hys).
I want to ask with what types of batteries does the BQ25504 work? Does it work with Ni-Cd?
And what is the best type of battery to use with the BQ25504?
There is leakage path to VRDIV through OK_HYST so tie OK_HYST to ground. If you want VBAT_OK signal permanently high, tie OK_PROG to VSTOR. If you want VBAT_OK signal permanently low, tie OK_PROG to GND.
