I attended the '07 TI Portable Power Design Seminar and the BQ243xx family of protection ICs were described. The programmable overvoltage versions were the BQ24310/12, but they've never been released. Are there any plans to release these two devices?
If customer has requirement for it, we can release it. Please contact Pavan Pudipeddi at firstname.lastname@example.org for detail.

bq24310 and bq24312 originally had programmale OVP function. However, the accruacy of this function did not meet our 3% target in silicon. Therefore, we decided to release versions with fixed OVP thresholds instead.
