BQ2000 resistor divider issue for single AA battery

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ2000, BQ24400, BQ24401

Hi

Im using the BQ2000 for a prototype to charge a single (1.2v) NiCD/NiMH battery off a USB input. I'm a little unsure of the voltage divider equation.

As per the datasheet, RB1 = (N-1) x RB2 and the result is 0.

So do i need a voltage divider here at all or should i adjust the divider ratio to get 1.2V to the BAT pin of the IC.

Thank you and regards
