Hello,

I’ve a question about BQ24160.

 

What is the SYS pin Voltage if i connect 9V on IN pin without Battery?

What is the SYS pin Voltage if i connect 5V on USB pin without Battery?

    Hello Natallia,

    The voltage on the SYS pin is dependent on the the battery voltage and whether or not charge is enabled.

    If you look at Pg. 5 of the datasheet it discusses both cases.

    When charge is enabled and Vbat<Vsys which is the case when no battery is present the voltage will nominally be 3.7V.

    When charge is disabled the BAT FET is opened and Vsys is regulated to the user set battery regulation voltage.

    Making it independent of the input voltage.
