bq24650 doubt

Hi everyone,

I am going to use bq24650 for solar charging. My battery chemistry is 12V (6 Cells) Lead acid battery 7Ah with maximum charging current 2A (initial). This type of two batteries I want to charge. Those batteries should be connected in parallel connection (to increase Ampere rating). I have three Solar panels specification is 12V (18 Volt Max), .25amps (3 Watt). Now my question is:

1)      Three solar panel should I connect Series or Parallel Connection to get best output performance?

2)      If the input current is less can it produce Icharge as 4A (4A because two batteries connected parallel each battery having 2A initial Charge Current)?

3)      I want to monitor battery status like (Power or Current). I already have ADC and Micro controller to monitor 5 channels Analog Value. Can I tap any connection from bq24650 to monitor the battery status? If it is possible which pin I have to connect with ADC channel?

4)      What is the significance of CE (Active Low) signal? That is connected at Q3 FET.

5)      How to connect and significance of the Pack Thermistor?

6)      After full charge of battery, will the IC itself disconnect from charging or I have to connect a Relay circuitry to disconnect? Battery floating voltage is 13.8V (-20mV/0C)

7)      SOP packaging will be available?
