Reg minimum VCC operating voltage for BQ24650

Hi TI,

We are using the part BQ24650 in one of our proto modules.

As per operating conditions in electrical characteristics of data sheet the minimum Vvcc_op is 5V.

In our application we are providing this input voltage from a switch that introduces a voltage drop of approximately 0.6V.

We have the below mentioned queries:

Q1. Please mention if BQ24650 would support a Vmin of less than 5V.

Q2. If yes for Q1 please specificy the exact value.

The VCC pin min voltage is 5V.

Hi,

So it means that if the Vcc is less than 5V the device working is not guaranteed.

Can the Vcc not be decreased ?

Thanks for your reply.

Please clarify the relationship between Vcc and VUVLO for BQ24650.

It is mentioned that VUVLO is 4V max.
