Page 4 and 5 of the bq24192 datasheet show the connection examples for the bq2419x chargers. All use L=2.2uH and C=20uF except for the bq24190 example, which shows L=1uH and C=40uF.
Is there a reason for the difference?
Thanks,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
All of the bq2419x family parts can be used with a 2.2uH or 1.0uH inductor. The bq24190 typical application example is just showing the alternate external component option.
Some customers prefer the 1.0uH inductor because you can find them in a thinner form factor, but you do have to add additional output capacitors which does add some cost.
Thanks!
