Charging 4 Cell LiFePO4 from vehicle supply

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24630, TPS40210

I'm designing a communications product that includes a 10Ah 4 Cell LiFePO4 battery pack. The unit needs to be able to charge from a standard 13.8V nominal vehicle supply. I was hoping to use the BQ24630 as I also need the PowerPath functionality but I see that this requires an input voltage higher than the charging voltage (14.4V in this case) as it is not a boost charger. The equipment can draw up to 8A from the supply or battery during periods when its radio is transmitting. Do I need a separate boost circuit upstream of the charger to achieve this or is there an integrated solution I should look at?

Thank you in advance
