Hi Everyone,

Our customer is looking for solution for charging supercap with balance terminal such as DMF series from Murata. Murata commented that they recommend to use charger with balance function for charging it. Please let me know if you have any solution.

    hi Sonoki-san,

    bq24640 doesn't have the pin for control the balance terminal. However, the bq24640 Vout can be set to 5V.  If adding an external voltage divider using two matching resistor and connect the center tap to the balance terminal, it can be controlled to not exceed 1/2 of applied voltage. Will this help?
