Hello,
I have a system with BQ24266 and a Li-Ion battery. When I connect the USB charger, I only see 53 mA going into the battery (my board draws about 5 mA in its stand-by mode), while the charger is rated 2.4 A max.
What I see is that the CHG output goes low for a few milliseconds, and then goes up again; during these few milliseconds, I am sometimes able to see the current on my multimeter going down to -6 mA (current drawn from battery!). I checked both IN and SYS voltages and they seem ok.
Other parameters:
- DPM resistors are 26.7k and 10k, as on the data sheet
- resistor on ISET is 400ohm
- IN voltage is at 5 V
- SYS voltage is about 4.2-4.3 V
- PG output is low
- CE input is low
- IUSB3/IUSB2/IUSB1 are 001
- I don't use neither TS nor DRV; they are tied together and simply bypassed with a 4u7 ceramic cap
- BGATE is floating
What could I try?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Stefano
