We have a system with both BQ24192 and BQ27531. We have experienced some failure modes where the Charger (12VDC) is not detected. The system starts and is powered from the charger, but the battery is not charged. No error flags can be read from the system. In order to get out of this failure mode the battery have to be disconnected when not connected to the charger. (Resetting the BQ27531). This failure mode seems to be linked to the situation when the battery is drained totally.
Is idea what can cause this failure mode?
