INT- Does bq24750A must need a host(DSP/MCU) to control charge of Multi Li-Ion battery?

Hi, Team,

I am not familiar with the Multi cell battery charger, one question need your help.

Customer need have a charger for the 3 li-Lon cells, After check the datasheet, the bq24750A seems suitable for this requirement, but i can not find any pre-charge, termination function in the datasheet, the datasheet application just define the charge current(fast charge current?)in it. So my question is that does bq24750A must need a host(DSP/MCU) to control charge of Multi Li-Ion battery(for pre-charge, termination or any other function)?

Yes, you need a host to set the charge current for pre-charge and fast-charge current and use CE to terminate the charge.

BQ24610 is multi-cell, stand-alone charger, please check the d/s to see it also fit other application requirement.
