Hi Sir,

I have question about BQ24297,
if input source as AC adapter to DC in, the voltage equal battery or less than battery voltage, can occur which issue?

    Hello Kuo,

    If the input voltage from the adapter is equal or less than the battery voltage, you are most likely operating below the VBUS operating voltage and the part would go into HIZ and stop switching. If your adapter voltage is still within operating voltage, but still below the battery voltage (for example your adapter is 3.9V and your battery is 4.2V), you might run into DPM if your system is still demanding current and your adapter is reaching it's capacity.
