Does TI have a suitable device which can meet below specification？Thanks ～

1. Battery capacity of battery pack --> 18650

2. Charging input source --> AC adapter

3. Prefer a charge profile that’s Host or standalone --> Host

4. Charging time of the battery --> 8hrs

5. Wireless charging considered --> NO

6. Cell configuration --> 1pc battery

7. Pack voltage = S x cell voltage --> 3.7V

8. Pack capacity = P x cell capacity --> 3000mAh

9. Charging voltage --> 4.2V

10. Charging current --> 1A

Hello Jacky,

Have you reviewed the chargers part of the bq2589x family? Perhaps the bq25892 suits your application, it's a single-cell charger that can be controlled via I2C, accepts the input of an AC/DC adapter (up to 14V), can provide 1A charging at 4.2V and you can set a safety timer to ensure the charge time doesn't exceed 8 hours. This device is a switching charger and provides PowerPath functionality as well.
