BQ24151A: Charge Single cell Li-ion battery until 4.35V

My cusotomer (Denso) would like to charge single cell Li-ion battery until 4.35V. (not 4.2V)

According to the datasheet. most battery charge solutiin support as Battery Charge Voltage=4.2V.

Do you have any solution that support 4.35V Voltage Battery Charge?

Memory location 2 sets VBATREG and can be written up to 4.44V. Default is 3.54V. However, this IC has been NRND'd. If you can provide more details about the application (charge current, battery capacity, end application, etc.), I might be able to find a better solution.

customer requirement is below
charge current : around 2.0A (not decided yet)
battery capacity : not sure
end application : handy tarminal (E-POS system)

According to your answer, Can I set any Charge Voltage that user require?
Could you please your solution for this customer case.

Yamane,

Yes, you can set the bq24151A charge voltage to your customer's desired value but the charge current maximum is 1.25A. I recommend looking at

bq25606 - standalone (no I2C) - use the VSET pin to set the battery voltage

bq25601 - I2C
