I want to use small capacity(160mAhr) battery, can I set charging current less than 500mA, i.e. 100mA?

Riset = Kiset/Icharge

Can set Riset to get charging current 100mA which is smaller than 550mA?

    Max,

    We have not characterized the charge current for lower than the datasheet minimum therefore we cannot warranty operation lower than that minimum value. Charge current will flow but the accuracy will be much worse than the datasheet specifies.

    Can you provide more information about your application? Do you require the dual input feature of the bq24165?
