Hi Team,

I have project application 36 W Battery Cradle.

In my case have two battery, currently survey LTC1960 but cost expensive for me...

So I plan use TI 24610 with MAXiM device selector MAX1538 or if you have best solution, please advise me, thanks.

To prevent two batteries short together, a back to back FETs have to be put between them. To manage those FETs, can you use two charger ICs in your system to control the back to back FETs?

We don't test our solution on bq24610. We check the solution on bq24780S (The BATDRV is a NFET driver) and will publish it around October. The preliminary block diagram looks like:
