BQ24075: Pull-down at BQ24075 SysOff pin and connectivity between BQ27426 and BQ24075

Part Number: BQ24075
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ27426,

Hi,

Will there be any issue if I have a 100k pull-down at the SysOff pin (this pin is also routed to the host), so the part can start charging as soon as power is present at the Vin and not wait for the  host to set SysOff low for charging?

This will allow the battery to get charged without booting the host. Please advise.

Also, when this part is used with BQ27426:

Q1: how close BQ27426's Bat pin (which is also shorted to SRP pin)  needs  to be with the Battery's  +ve terminal?  Can it be 100 mm away?

Q2: how close SRN pin needs to be with the BQ24075 charger's Bat pin? While sense resistor is very close to SRN and SRP pins,  can SRN pin be 50 mm away from the charger's Bat pin?

Charger's Bat pin will kelvin connect to SRN according to figure 14: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/bq27426.pdf  and the charger's OUT pin will be VSYSTEM.

Q3: If the battery pack does not have a thermistor pin: should BQ27426's TS pin be shorted directly  to charger's (BQ24075) TS pin with a 10K pull-down NTC?

Thanks,

Andy
