Is there any way to control the wireless charging output frequency programmatically? Currently, we are able to view the output frequency (122kHz) using the battery management studio, but it's shown as read-only and we cannot control its value.

The freq of the BQ50002EVM-607 (BQ50002A / 511A) system is not fixed it will vary between 205kHz and 110kHz to regulate operating point.

Thank you for your response. I understand that the frequency of BQ50002 is not fixed and can change based on some protocol.
My question is whether we can programmatically control the frequency in the user space. In my project, I have a MCU connected to the BQ50002EVM with I2C, and I want to adaptively control the operating frequency using a control algorithm in my MCU. Is it possible to do so?

Operating freq cannot be controlled by I2C.

The bq50002A + bq500511A TX is an LLC resonant topology power converter, freq will change to meet output power requirements.

What is the main difference between this EVM and a commercial product if people cannot have some control over it?

"What is the main difference between this EVM and a commercial product if people cannot have some control over it?" -- The EVM and commercial products are very similar and control of the power section is the same. System is designed to meet Qi requirements of an A11 TX.
