Hi Sir,

As I Know, the Charger IC have a spec is Recharge threshold value similar BQ24190 as below.

But I can't found out this spec in BQ24770,

is this value is VCC-BAT Falling Threshold in datasheet ? or Could you please share this value for me?

Hello, Hugo:

bq24770 was originally designed from a notebook application which didn't have recharge function. The host controller checks the battery pack's gauge info and sends commands to bq24770 to recharge the battery.

Hi Sir,

If didn't have recharge function.
Why full charge 100%, After a while will drop to 98%.
Do you have any idea for this case.

Which IC reports 100% and 98%? How does it report 100% and 98%? Does it monitor discharge current?
After charge to 100%, does the host controller turn off bq24770's BATDRV by set inhibit bit or write charge current to zero?

If the host controller doesn't turn off BATFET and the load is small (the inductor current is zero), a frequently system load transient can use the battery power to support system before the inductor ramp-up. So, please turn off BATDRV if the battery is charged to 100%. That also help the battery life cycle.
