1. May I know the maximum current of BTST ?

2. Have any concern for the resistor package size?

The resistor will be burnout when we re-plug the battery

Hello Kai,

Without considering the parasitic inductance in the loop, the BTST resistor needs to withstand at least 1A current.

If customer would like to use 0402 resistor, then it needs to be a anti-surge type of resistor. Otherwise a 0603 typically should work.
