It was hinted at a couple of months ago that the TMapFileGenerator.exe utility would be available soon. I need to create several TMAP files for use with our bq78PL114S12 boards and was wondering what the latest news was?

The development of this utility is still planned.  However, it has been assigned a lower priority compared with other on-going development projects.  Look for this utility to come out near the end of Q2-2010.  In the mean time, refer to the published App Note for .tmap details and capabilities and contact BMS-HCE Sales and Applications Support for customized .tmap files.

    Thanks for the update!

I was hoping to save them the trouble but I have the data mentioned in the .tmap doc and will contact Support to create the files.

    Hello,BatteryBorne

I have some problems with bq78PL114EVM to ask you. I used Buck circuit to charge the lithium battery and connect the buck circuit I designed to the 114EVM. I use DSP2812 to control the drive module of buck circuit. And when the load is resistor, the buck circuit works well, But when I connected the buck circuit to Pack+ and Pack- of bq78PL114EVM, it didn't work and the EVM was brocken. The bqwizard software can't read the information of the EVM. The SMBus communication was interrupted. The software indicated that the SMBus has an error. So do you know the reason for this?

And how to solve the problem?

    Thanks
