Does anyone know the I2C commands to read the elapsed time register in the BQ27541-V200 GG? There is nothing in the spec to describe such a register, but I'm assuming that this register exists because elapsed time needs to be known in order to predict RemainingCapacity when the battery pack is sitting on the shelf for months at a time with some known self discharge. Access to this register would let us know how long a battery has been on a shelf, or even how long a battery pack has been residing in our system.

None of our IMpedance Track gas gauges has an elapsed time register. Self discharge is not recognized by counting time but rather by measuring the voltage of the cell through out the time that it is in relaxation. The gauge will update the state of charge of the cell based on its open circuit voltage.
