I designed a pack with LiFeCO cells and a bq3060 for a customer. At the customer's request, I also provided a reader and let him know he could buy an EV2400 to read the battery registers. Now, the customer is sending me data he collects while testing the packs and wants to know about every pack parameter.
I have noticed that the MaxError is frequently set to 100%, even for packs where it had been in the 2-4% range. The cycles he is running (as far as he's telling me) should keep the MaxError at 2% because he is running full learning cycles.
So, what could be causing the 100% Max Error? The Technical Reference says the only way for it to be set to 100% is with a reset. I'm at a loss.
