But ChemID 807 can not select from bqChem Device:110 Version:0.04.

Watanabe-san,

The ChmID should show up in the selection table after you run the Chemistry Updater program. Please go to the TI website and search for Chemistry Updater. Select the first hit that appears and then use the Gas Gauge Chemistry Updater Setup program located under Software. This will load the ChemID updates onto your computer.

Is the OCV table selected by ChemID correct when the battery ages?

Can only impedance and Qmax values describe aging effect?

Watanabe-san,

The OCV voltage does not changing with aging and the difference between the OCV an actual voltage is compensated for with the Ra-table updates.

When we configure G&Yu EB-100(12V,100Ah Lead Acid Battery)  2 series 2 parallel.

And we want to detect failure or aging  for each block of battery. 

I think we should use bq34z110 for each block of battery. 

Do you think is it a right way to detect failure or aging  for each block of battery?

If the parallel batteries are physically connected in parallel, then they should worked as one battery. the device will monitor them as a 2S1P configuration and update Qmax for the fully capacity of the parallel cell.. The bq34z100 does not monitor each series cell in a stack, so it will update the series resistance (Ra table) for the full string. If should be able to predict the health of the pack with this information.

You could implement something like you show in the drawing to monitor each cell and you would have to use an isolator for the communications lines.
