I found the bq Multi-Station Tester Software and source code v2.29 on another post in this forum.

It looks pretty close to what I need (except for a different serial number scheme), but doesn't seem to support the bq27541-v200.

Has anyone updated it to work with that chip or should I attempt to do it myself?

If I have to go about it myself, what compiler is needed? Has anyone at upgraded the source-code to VB Express 2008 (or later)?

Hello Paul,

I have not seen any updates for this. The original code was for VB6. Upgrading shouldn't be a problem http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bszew91f.aspx.

Now there's apparently a new version of the software online, which comes with a calibration/programming board.

But it doesn't seem to support the bq27541.

Why is there no production support for this chip? What's the possibility of getting TI's help to add this chip to the bqMtester program?
