BQ27421 Datasheet Clarification

I am looking at this device bq27421 which has an integrated sense resistor, and their block diagram shows it going between the SRX and BAT pins. 
 
But in the electrical parameters section, it states that it is between SRX and VSS (GND). 
Which one is correct and can I please get some clarification on this?

    The block diagram is the one that's correct; in the bq27421, the sense resistor is connected between the BAT and SRX pins, not Vss.


    The bq27425, however, has the sense resistor between Vss and SRX, and I think this is where the error may have come from (but this is purely speculation on my part).
