Can someone please direct me to a document which details how to set up a bq33100 evm board to handle my supply voltages, currents and my capacitor size and voltage?

Doug, It seems as if the EVM only handles 500 ma. Do you have a sample circuit that can handle 2 Amps of charge current?

No, but you can increase the EVM design to 2A by beefing up D3 and Q1. R2 and R3 should be 2.5 ohms each and large enough to handle the power dissipation.
