Hi I am unable to calibrate current & voltage with EVM2300 & getting following message -

" Calibration - failed to enter calibration mode with command 0x2D "

- any suggestions ? Thanks for any reply

It would be helpful if you would take the time and do a bit more effort to give the relevant information ,it would help people to understand your problem and help you.
what software are you using ,what device and a small description of what you are doing will be very helpful

Hi Peter following is the information
(1) Software (I suppose you mean my PC software) = Windows XP
(2) EVM2300 (HPA002) & Device is BQ34z100-G1
(3) The pack I am using is 4 series connected cells (Max.voltage = 16.8 V) , cells panasonic NCR18650B
(4) I want to create a Golden Image for my target board ( communication = I2c )
I hope this gives a fair idea of my application ? Do let me know further queries if any

Thank you this help to understand what you are working with,
I personally did not use the Bq34z100 G1 ,I am starting this week with this device ,I am sure with the information you provided now Tom and the guys will help you out ,
Are you using BqStudio with the EV2300 ?

Hi Anay

I am working with lead acid battery pack 48V and 120Ah we used the Bq34z110 for a proto type and now I have to move to the Bq34Z100 G1

Thomas I am using the GUI but yes the I2C Master Control Panel does have the same parameters that you have illustarted

Peter,
I am using 3 series (36V) lead acid battery pack. I am facing problems while performing voltage calibration using bq studio 'command button' .
I am getting the error that 'Client waited more than 30 seconds for pipe'
What's the best method to perform voltage calibration; using bq studio 'command button' interface or manual control panel commands with target register.

We used BQ studio for the calibration and settings ,You should ask Ti to help you solve your BQ Studio problem

Thanks for the help .It seems that QEN flag is red(set) for the IC.As suggested in forum , I tried to upload the 'bq34z100_G1_v0_16_build_17.srec' FW file. Using the programming interface of the BQ studio ,there are 3 steps in the process :Browse --> Program--> Execute FW. I am able to program
(got an intermediate message 'writing instruction flash row 512 of 512') but I am unable to execute firmware. Each time I am getting an error message at left bottom screen of bq studio stating :'Failed to execute FW- No Acknowledge from the device'.
Is there a solution to this problem or the IC is bricked.
