Hi,

    if VC5 connects a resistance of 10kohm to GND on 3 cell supercap, does it impact cell balance?

From datasheet, VC5 should be tied with the bottom cell.

    hi Alan,

    Why do you want to connect a 10k to gnd? The table labelled series capacitor connectivity in the data sheet explicitly states to short vss to vc5 which should be the bottom of the 1st cap for a 3s supercap stack.
