New CHEM_ID process and supported gauges

Hi John,

You can try our online tool called gpcchem to see if there is a close match for your cell in our chem id data base. If there isn't then you will have to send your cells to us so we generate a new chem id for your customized cell.

Thanks Onyx. For planning purposes, if we have to go down the route of sending you a battery to get a new chem_id, can we load that into existing chips? Are there certain ones compatible?  Hopefully it doesn't involve waiting for a new chip to support!  Thanks, John

Slight correction to my above post... you will be able to load the new chem ID on any of our existing  flash based IT gauges

Onyx, I assume that applies to all "IT" gauges only.  I have an "IT-LITE" gauge on my board now, so I believe I'm stuck with a fixed CHEM_ID on that one.  Correct?
