bqStudio install question

I just downloaded a current copy of bqStudio V1.3.52 to use with bq40z50EVM-561 hardware, during the install process  I had to select a "target hardware" so I selected 4500_1_06-bq40z50R1.bqz after high-lighting and pressing enter, I get a pop up screen, that says the detected device is not compatible with the application!!! goes on to say use at your own risk and this action could put the hardware in a unrecoverable state.

So, The Question is this in fact the correct software to use and program the bq40z50EVM-561? or was this some programming over site and the pop up screen was software error?

    Hi Dennis,

    Did you click ok? The language is harsh, but yes that's the correct SW for bq40z50-R1. When the SW is launched it will auto-detect bq40z50-R1, if it's connected to the EV2400/EV2300 and powered up. The device wasn't auto-detected, so hence the message you got. It's fine to proceed and later connect and power up the gauge. Remember to press the wake-up button, if the power is applied to the BAT side of the EVM.
