Linux/BQ27441-G1: bq27441 setting "Design Voltage"

It is the voltage at which your battery switches from constant current charging mode to constant voltage charging mode and then charging current Tapers to full charged. You need to set this battery parameter along with the other key battery parameters to get accurate battery gauging through bq27441-G1 gauge. Please refer to bq27441-G1 Guickstart guide section 4 "Programming the Configuration" for further details.

I've gone through the TRM of bq27441 before. There is nothing related to "Design Voltage". That's why I'm confused.

Design Voltage is already being set to bq27441-G1 gauge which is for batteries with Max. Charging Voltage of 4.2V and that's why you don't see it in the TRM, it also worth mentioning that bq27441-G1B has a Design Voltage which is for batteries with Max. Charging Voltage range of 4.3V - 4.35V.

Hi, I apologize for making you confused, Design Voltage is the Nominal Voltage of a battery, typically around 3.6V - 3.7V and it is not the Max. Charging Voltage, just wanted to make that clear.
The value you got 3600mV is correct typical value for a battery design voltage.
Again I apologize for confusing you between (Design Voltage " The Nominal Voltage") and Max. Charging voltage.
