BQ78350-R1: BQ78350 not accepting (not taking action) on mosfet status if HostFETControl command is given consecutively within 4 seconds

Observed this issue with BQStudio as well as with custom drivers we developed in-house. 

It seems like BQ78350-r1 takes action on the mosfets only if the new HostFETControl command is given atleast 4 seconds after the previous one. 

The datasheet does mention 4s for HostFETControl, but that is for a different purpose altogether (the command to HostFETControl should be provided within 4 seconds of issuing the Fet Control Access Code).

Any help is much appreciated.
