BQ27421-G1: bq27421-G1 / No entry field of current calibration in bqStudio

Hi,

Now my customer is evaluating BQ27421EVM-G1A and they are asking why there is no entry field of current calibration in bqStudio. I actually confirmed it and tried to see the bq27426 that has no internal sense resistor, then bq27426 has current calibration entry field though bq24721 doesn't have it. Does it mean that the gauge which has internal sense resistor does not need current calibration? Please let me know the reason if it does not need it.

Hi Satoshi,
yes, it is because the gauge has internal sense resistor that is why there is no current calibration for it.

Thank you for your comment. I understood.

But just for your information, bq27441 has no internal resistor like bq27426 but bq27411 has no current calibration function in bqStudio. This is why I was a little bemused.

Thanks for pointing that out. It actually ought to be there on the bq27441 but for simplicity sake it was made hidden.
