Hi. We want to produce a small BMS with chips Bq20z75. With what program we can configure and customize? The list of supported chips BqStudio they are not.

Hi Alexey,

The bq20z75 and its replacement, the bq20z75-V180, are not recommended for new designs. If this is for a new design, have you considered the bq40z50-r1 or other, more recent devices?

Could you describe your application and bms requirements in more detail?

If you are supporting a legacy product, EVSW with an EV2300 may be used to communicate with the device.

Hi Bryan, Thanks for the reply. We have a number of these chips in stock. Plan to make BMS 2s-4s, LiIon, 18650 elements for power portable terminals, and various small devices. Please give a link to EVSW software for bq20z75-v180

Hi Alexey,

I am looking into why the EVSW download link is not working. In the interim, please use another version of EVSW to communicate with the gauge via the PRO screen.
