bq34Z100-G1: GPC Cycle option missing from bqstudio toolbar

I have been developing with both the bq34110 and bq34Z100-G1 gas gauge EVMs.

I have decided to use the bq34Z100-G1 for our product and I now want to GPC cycle the battery to get a Chem ID, but the GPC cycle option does not appear as an option in bqstudio toolbar when connected to the bq34Z100-G1 EVM (GPC cycle is available when connected to the bq34110 EVM).

Why is there no option for GPC cycle for the bq34Z100-G1? This is a really useful feature and I have already made the interface hardware needed to control charging and discharging of the cells.

I am using bqstudio v1.3.54.1 with an EV2400 with firmware v0.18

    Hi Peter,

    The GPC Cycle is a great feature that was added to the bq34110 to aid customers in creating their logs required for CEDV creation. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for the bq34z100-G1.
