BQ78350-R1: writing register in "Sealed" mode

Hello,
is it possible to write to registers in sealed mode (SBS Command 0x70)? Customer wants to write some info data into these register. Or is it only possible to acivate first the unsealed mode over the SM bus?

Hi Holder,
If the pack is sealed it must be unsealed to perform most writes and many reads. See the technical reference manual

Hi Holger,
The bq78350-R1 technical reference manual has a column in table 17-2 which shows MAC commands which are not available when sealed. 0x0010 Shutdown is available to be written when sealed, see the table for others. More details are provided in the text of the document in the section for the command.
The table 17-1 summary of SBS commands shows various commands which are R/W. These are available in sealed mode, again see the text in the related section for details.
It is a big document, I'm sure it is not perfect, but it is the reference unless we find errors.

customer explained me once more what he wants to do. He needs some space to store application data (up to 20 bytes) on the bq78350 in sealed mode. Do you see a possiblilty?

Hi Holger,
The bq78350-R1 has no general purpose read/write space for application data. There is the manufacturer info block at command 0x70 which is 32 bytes if they store something at the time of manufacture, but it would be read only in operation.
