hi all

Actually we’re facing an issue with pcm 9055 using bq 27541 G1 ,the battery management software showed a compatibility error between bq27541 G1 and bq27541 v200 ,then we used the bq evaluation software and we had a rondom temperature values between 76°C and -900°C ,SOC between 76% and 0% !! which is illogical .

We wonder to know if you have already used such kind of bq and dealt with BqEasy before, is there any suggestions to solve this problem?

and what s rom mode, how can i jump to it?

hi Milla,
I would adivse you use the latest which is the bq27542-G1. If you decided to use the bq27541-G1, then use bqstudio with it. Bqstudio at this time doesn't support the v200 version. You have to use bqEVSW for that. I would recommend updating the firmware on the v200 to either the '541-G1 if you want to stay with that or the '542-G2. ROM mode is the mode that allows you program the firmware on the chip. You can get into it by sending the commmand 0x0f00. Let me know if you have further questions.

yes you can only update the firmware versions in rom mode

Are you programming trying to program the firmware by browsing to the folder where it is at and hitting the program button? Can you send a step by step screen shot of what you are doing?
