BQ40Z80EVM-020: Unable to establish connection with bqStudio

My customer is having difficulty establishing a connection with the BQ40Z80EVM using bqStudio.

We've tried / verified the following:

  • adding bqz files found in this post
  • jumper settings for on-board EV2400 found on page 5 of the quick start guide
  • wake button mentioned in this post

Are there any other recommended steps for troubleshooting the connection?

    If you have the .bqz file in the config directory under bqStudio, have the resistor divider or battery connected to power block, the jumpers are configured for the on-board EV2400 (both away from the white external connector), you have the USB cable connected between the EVM and the computer, and you have pressed the wake button, you should be able to start bqStudio and have it auto-detect the EVM. Three LED's should be lit green when connected to the PC. Any additional details on the set-up, or pictures, may help diagnose the issue.
