Q: BQ24610: Minimum Input required
Our customer is thinking about a 3-cell application having the fully-charged voltage of 12.6V system. He inquires if the input voltage of 13.8V is sufficient. Is there the specific value or a recommended value? Best Regards.

13.8V will be fine. The part can perform up to ~99.5% duty cycle so the overhead one needs is at least 0.2V for the duty cycle and 0.4V for IR drop, so 13.2V would be a minimum and the P/S probably has a tolerance of 5% maximum so 13.8V should work fine.
