How to increase the voltage range of the bq24650?
A solution is to add a 28V output Buck regulator in between the Solar Panel and the BQ24650 circuit. In order to retain the MPPT functionality, the resistor network R3, R4 would tie to the VIN side of the Buck regulator instead of the VIN as indicated in Fig 1 in the datasheet.
