Hi,
We are making IC validation board, in this board we are using IC socket www.ironwoodelectronics.com/.../sbt.cfmon which we will place different sample of IC and test it.But before placing the IC sample in the socket, we want to test the BGA pins( for Continuity and shorts)on the socket on which the socket and IC samples will place.
We want to check the shorts so that IC samples should not damage.
Can you please tell me how I can test pins on socket for shorts?is there any Adapter board available in market?
ThanksAsh
Not sure there is a method to check the socket, you might try this question with Ironwood.
What part are you validating?
