We are using UCD9240 for our designs, we need a UCD9240EVM to learn how to use it, can anybody give me some information how can I get a UCD9240EVM? It seems I cann't order it in the website. Thank you very much!
Unfortunately we do not have a UCD9240 EVM. You could use the UCD9224EVM. It will give you a good idea how these parts work. The UCD9220 has two outputs and up to four phases versus the 4 outputs and 8 phases of the UCD9240.
It is recommended to use the UCD9246 or UCD9248 for new designs, if you are implementing the Fan functionality of the UCD9240 then I would suggest contacting your local TI representative about getting a sample of soon to be released new controllers which are pin compatible with the UCD9240 and include the Fan pins.
