How do we calculate the power consumption of a SoC, is there an practical/applicable way of calculating near value?

    Cetin,

    It is difficult to measure experimentally the power consumption of an IC in it's application without  specific hardware designed to facilitate a measurement of this type.

    That being said, at least for the UCD3138 family of devices, the IC power consumption under different conditions can be estimated theoretically using the electrical spec table, and section 3.7 of the datasheet.
