I'm currently designing a full bridge phase shift converter, so far I have tested UCC28950 but I think it will be worthwhile to use the UCD3138 family instead,
especially since I will need to control the converter with a serial interface anyway.

I have now the UCD313806EVM-board which I will connect to the converter.

My questions:

I would like to have some sample source code to start with. Do you have anything to share, preferably a working project for the latest CCS version...
When using digital fusion, I can find the device on the EVM board only when I scan in ROM mode (using the UCD3XXX/UCD9XXX Device GUI) but not otherwise. So I can't start digital fusion in on-line mode. Any idea?

Fredrik,

Have you seen the UCD3138PSFBEVM-027 Evaluation Module? This uses the UCD3138 to control a Phase Shifted Full-Bridge topology. It looks like this would be very helpful for the design. If you get this, I can send you the source code that we use in the EVM.

If not, I can still send you some general training labs on the UCD3138. It contains source-code and some power-point slides that you can use as a guide. Please send me a personal message with your email and I can send over the source code.

Regarding the GUI, for general programming, you will want to use the "UCD3xxx & UCD9xxx Device GUI" part of the Fusion GUI. This should be included in the Fusion install package. From there you can scan for the device in ROM mode, and use the Firmware Download tool to program the device.

I do not have the UCD3138PSFBEVM-027 evaluation board.
What I do have is a full bridge converter (currently controlled by UCC28950) and a UCD313806EVM-166 board.
I plan to integrate the UCD313806EVM-166 board to my existing converter.

I do believe that the source code and schematics for the UCD3138PSFBEVM-027 evaluation board will be very helpful for my setup.
If I get a Code composer Studio project, I should be able to translate it to the UCD313806.

If there are any CCS-project examples for the UCD313806 it would also be useful.

We currently do not have any project examples for the UCD3138064. However, the UCD3138064 programs can be created from the UCD3138 programs by referencing section 13 of the UCD3138064 Programmer's Manual: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluuad8a/sluuad8a.pdf

I am working with Fredrik in this project. I have downloaded and studied the training labs.

Now it would be very useful if you can send the source code for UCD3138PSFBEVM-027 so we can convert it to UCD3138064
